PlentyofFish is one of the easiest advertising platforms I’ve ever worked with. They happily allow third-party tools to be developed to make it easier for us to advertise and ultimately, turn a profit. If you make money and spend more money, they make more money. It’s a win-win situation, so they’re encouraged to help you succeed. POF currently has a Global Alexa rank of 2010 but this seems low to me. I thought it was in the top 100 They are easy to get a hold of and will provide advice based on your specific campaign, not a canned, boilerplate response. On the POF Ads Blog they keep you updated about new features and changes to the platform, along with case studies that are done by affiliates.
I’ll give you a little history about how I came to know Marcus, Ben and the rest of the team at POF and when I started advertising on POF. I also touch on few of the POF Case Studies I’ve done on RileyPool.com.
PlentyOfFish, more commonly referred to as POF is the world’s leading online dating website. They are the world’s largest online dating site with over 20,000 new members joining daily, 30 million registered members and 145 million visits per month. This membership base provides more than 3 billion page views per month and has 1.5+ million visitors daily.
There are a number of things you need to have in place before you’re ready to advertise on POF. You need to have your hosting setup, a tracking solution installed, acceptance into a few affiliate networks, preferably a member of a forum or two and optionally some forms of automation to help you advertise on POF more efficiently.
